Day 76: And the rains came...

First study day and was today and, in what I am hoping is not prophetic of exams in general, we were under a tornado warning an hour or two. Text messages and emails from Loyola illuminated my phone advising me to take cover. The sky turned dark and opened up to torrential downpours. Wind whipped violently through town blowing down tree limbs and power lines. And then the classic Uptown New Orleans flooding! Amazes (and annoys) me all the money not to mention inconvenient construction that has been invested improving  the street drainge and *still* I waded in water mid-calf from my study buddy's door just to my car to get to the Contracts exam review. Really makes me want to take Property more seriously, master concepts like urban planning, and become well versed in land use just so I can ask the powers that be a more legally articulate question that "WTF, yo???".
