Day 68: Clarity

What a glorious day! The parking gods are smiling upon me. Spent some time hanging out on the Peace Quad at main campus reading and updating notes. And - best of all - today was Contracts. Not the ordinary level of lunacy, but still amusing. Prof queried "injury is foreseeable, but is getting hit by a meteor foreseeable?" I say no, but I KNOW the answer is "maybe". And despite the absurdity of that statement alone, the reason I know it is "maybe" is because I have been reprogrammed to look at both sides of the equation as if they both could be true - no matter what or how ridiculous the facts presented. In fact, that is where the whole analysis bit is centered. "Maybe"blinds the bright line rule so completely it can't be found because it no longer exists. But seems I am not alone in holding out hope that demarcation in the sand will appear one day. My classmate asked a question around clearly defining those same parameters in one of our cases when my professor says, without flinch or hesitation "I can't believe you guys want some clarity at the end of 2nd semester of Contracts." And you know? I almost can't believe it myself. =)
