Torts professor was somewhat subdued today but it was an interesting talk on the statutes of limitations and repose. Real hypo du jour: woman has a tubaligation; 10 years later she turns up pregnant. Can she sue? Nope. Statutes that would permit her to bring a cause of action have all expired. THIS is what we got out of Tort Reform. (???) SMH
Otherwise it was a lots of good news day! Got the final "go" for Greece. Talked with a woman who spent a year there and shared info on the Institute of Marine Conservation. Became the Healthcare Law Alliance VP for 13/14. Got my Junior League acceptance letter. Found out my work BFF got a phenomenal new job. Attended a session on effective networking that a Tulane 3L put together. And it's a full moon! What you say?!?! =D
