Day 52: Adjusting daily
Moot Court Briefs were submitted yesterday. (Congrats, Friends) This morning was last class day of Principles of Legal Analysis. These are mere indicators that 2nd semester 1L year's end is near! (Not to be apocalyptic or anything) I'm just not ready for it. Put together my study schedule this morning, did some Torts outlining, and finished out the academic day learning nothing in Property. Read a few ABA and Huffington Post articles, went to a Lambda meeting where the presentation was on same sex marriage, and learned how to work the Career Services scanners in order to share yesterday's Tips and Tricks of Work-Life balance handout. Started mentally preparing myself for tomorrow's talk with the abroad program people (seems there is a problem with the externship and the amount of credit hours I can glean from this and then the Washington Center). But fun of all is I found out that Jamiroquai has added a single concert at some UK park and will perform the only time in 2013 on July 13 at some fest with Joss Stone and Soul II Soul. (I absolutely NEED to be there!!!) However the lion's share of the day was spent just being Mommy meeting with teachers, hanging out at swim practice, texting with other parents about the Carrollton school relocation, picking up books from the library, doing homework and a book report, touching base on short term goals, meeting with a clinical psychologist to discuss additional stress coping techniques for them, and stopping in at Armstrong Market for local fare on the way home so we have something fresh to eat tomorrow. Whew! And as I review the allocations, I see the study schedule is already going to need to be revamped. =)
