Day 51: Serendipity

Saw a flier on somebody's office door today for a lunch time talk on French foreign policy and dispute resolution. Sat down in 405 cause they were setting up Chinese and Japanese food for lunch - seemed rather diplomatic to me. Turns out I was in the Association of Women Lawyers meeting/panel about balancing work and life as a female attorney. The women who spoke were all 3 professors who'd attended law school as returning students with kid(s) in order to pursue law as a second career. OMG! They spoke to me with an intimate understanding of the challenges I face daily and gave me a sense of validation that I really needed right now. I am SO grateful for their words of wisdom and guidance. I am also taken aback that this is the second time it has happened that I am just in the wrong room for what appeared to be a right reason. It is also the second time the results so incredibly surpassed my expectations that I am a believer in serendipity!
