Day 32: Barristers' Ball

I can't wait! Prom is 2 days away and I am having THE BEST time just leading up to it. Bad news is that I am still carrying my winter fat and will have to wear a forgiving dress to camouflage my *indiscretions* with a basic, neutral pump.  Good news is that tickets are sold out - so now it's a very exclusive event! Theme is "Shark Week" and I have actually uttered the words "shoot! I can't find a shark purse that doesn't look kitchy". Did I tell you my date is renting a limo? A gaggle of us are going to pile into it. This is going to be so great! A classmate suggested we go for a "fancy" dinner at Applebee's; then another counter argued for the more "upscale" Chili's if we can't get a table at Olive Garden! I heard the list of chaperones earlier today and am already resisting the urge to spike the punch and smoke in the girls' room! This is most excellent of excellent things and is going to be such fun!!! I don't remember who talked me into going, but thank you, Friend, cause I can't stop giggling!!! =D
