Day 8: My new nemesis =)

It recently took me a solid hour to read a 4.5 page case that began with the words "The issue is, what is chicken". (Now just let that marinate - pun intended.) So I read and re-read that sentence no less than 6 times, each time left wondering WTF. I concluded that I must have become delusional under the stress of it all because surely the District Court of EVERY state in our Union would throw such a ridiculous motion out on general principle. Alas, I was wrong and have been unfailingly stupefied by the topics in this semester's Contracts cases. In point of fact, that same day we spent a good portion of class discussing the definition of sandwich and exploring expert testimony on whether a burrito qualifies as such. (So you know, it was a close call, but it doesn't.) In fact, I have spent so much time whispering to myself "you have *got* to be kidding" that I have deemed Contracts class my new nemesis! Don't get me wrong, this makes for comedic gold. But every good story has controlled conflict; hence, I have Contracts. I so love law school! =D
